Very capable RC crawler. But I wanted to make it better so this is what I did.

I trimmed the tire to open up the treads. I cut the tire foam into a star pattern to make it perform like a dual density foam. I also added 1.5 oz to each front tire and .75 to the rear tires using ¼ oz wheel weights attached to the rim.

I converted the wiring to use a 2s 1100 mah battery that I had for my wltoys A979. Another fun RC. https://www.banggood.com/Wltoys-7_4V-1100mAh-20C-2S-Lipo-Battery-JST-Plug-for-A949-A959-A969-A979-118-RC-Vehicles-p-1557838.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN . I still get 1 hour of crawling. When you switch to a lipo you need to move the pin connector on the ESC to the lipo slot as seen in the picture with the screwdriver pointing at it.

I also converted it to 4 wheel steer using the stock transmitter.
